COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement Announcement

Dear Members of the ATI College Community:

 

From the start of the pandemic, data and science have guided the schools in California to best respond to COVID-19. That continues to be true when it comes to vaccines. Schools in California are putting everything in place to continue to practice the safety of the students, faculty, staff, and the communities.

 

In hopes for a return to normal and safe campus experience, ATI College will require a COVID-19 vaccination for all students, faculty, and staff who access campus over the summer months. All new and returning students as well as faculty and staff will be required to be vaccinated prior to the Fall 2021 semester commencing on August 30, 2021.

 

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the College has taken actions to create a safe learning and working environment. Having our students, faculty, and staff vaccinated is the next important step in protecting our community. 

 

Medical and religious exemptions will be accommodated, but the expectation is the vast majority of our students, faculty, and staff will receive a vaccination. If you have not been vaccinated yet, we urge you to pre-register today by visiting the California Department of Public Health website (https://www.cdph.ca.gov/) for further instructions.

 

With vaccine eligibility expanding and more people signing up to get their shots every day, we move closer to a normal and safe future.   Getting the vaccine is free, easy, and safe!  It protects you. It protects those you love. And it protects the community we all call home.  So, please get vaccinated!
